7,000 stranded passengers. One small town.

What began as an ordinary day in a small town became an international sleepover when 38 planes carrying thousands of passengers from around the world were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland following the events of 9/11. Undeterred by cultural and language barriers, the people of Gander welcomed the stranded travelers with music, open bars, and a shared sense of global community. Based on true events, this critically acclaimed musical is an uplifting reminder of humanity’s capacity to come together in even the most difficult moments.
